Catering

At Briarlea we pride oursleves on the hearty and wholsesome meals we offer our residents; home cooked and prepared by our trained, in house cooks.

Many of our foods are created using local produce, and we also make use of the fruit that grows in our orchards that surround the back of the home. Our menus are updated regularly and rotate on a weekly basis.

We offer a range of different meals throughout the week, and are always mindful of those with any allergies, or diabetes, along with any special dietary requirements.

Upon arrival we ask residents whether they have any food dislikes, which are listed in the kitchen for the cook to use as a tool for meal preparation and serving; we also add to this list should any further dislikes present themsleves during the period of the resident's stay with us.

In addition to the rolling menu choice we also have impromptu tea parties, special supper nights, al fresco dining and celebration teas for special events.

 

Sample Menu

Breakfast

Continental Breakfast with choices of: Cereals, Porridge, Toast with a Selection of Preserves, Fresh Fruit, Tea or Coffee, and a Range of Fruit Juices.

Lunch

Chicken and Ham Pie, served with Mashed Potato and Seasonal Vegetables. Followed by Fresh Cream Trifle.

Tea

Hot Cheese and Tomato Quiche with Side Salad. Along with a Selection of Sandwiches, Bread and Preserves, and Home Made Cakes.
